The summer 3-D course is now open at the outdoor range.
There are 14 targets put up on the club side of the road. Just follow the NFAA course around the pines. There is a start arrow posted. There is an orange stake marking a safe line of sight to each target. You can shoot from there, move further back or move closer. Just be safe and have fun. Thursday nights are the planned fun nights with dollar burgers, brats and beer, with pop being 50 cents. Remember though, there is no alcohol allowed on the course. Also you must be a current member of the club to use this 3-D range, so get your membership dues in.

There are some weekends that the course will be closed. Check are current shoot schedule, those weekends this 3-D course will be closed.

Lastly, if you notice any targets in need of repair or anything that could be a safety issue with the course please notify me immediately, Jeff Miland, 874-5609. Also any other comments or concerns, I will gladly listen to if it will improve this course.

Congratulations to Mark Weber of eau Claire for harvesting the biggest buck of the club.

The Eau Claire Archers Club is located west of the city of Eau Claire and is based on 80 acres of land. It was purchased in 1965 with the assistance of Howard and Bea Kent.

in 2001 the archery club built a new pavilion and outdoor practice range with bunkers from 10 yards to 80 yards. It also has Broadhead bunkers from 10 yards to 40 yards.

In 2002, the archery club put in a two new practice ranges to accommodate the National Archery Archers Association (NFAA) style shooting as well as practice\hunting. Each course has fourteen bunkers with well marked trails on 40 acres.

During the months of June-August, every Thursday night is family night. We get together to shoot and grill out. Hamburgers and brats are a $1.00. In the past we have set-up practice 3-D targets to prepare for the hunting season.

Over the years the club has raised monies to buy wildlife game habitat in Clark County Forest, supported the Special Olympics by purchasing food for the "Buck Shoot Run: and helped promote youth archery in the schools.
